Master Bathroom Remodel: Single Family Home - University Dr, Richardson, TX
The owners of this recently updated home in Richardson, TX, flipped by a local investor discovered some major issues in the master bathroom after the purchase as well as cosmetic irregularities the new home owner wanted to remove.
Some of the drains were not plumbed correctly and had a combination of positive slope and concrete in the drain pipe. The glass tile in the shower was not cut correctly and they want to remove a corner shower that was converted into a sauna. Additionally the hot water in the master bath took several minutes to get hot in the master shower and did not get as hot as the other bathrooms in the house.
To correct both the cosmetics and defects Renowned Renovation completely redesigned the bathroom, added a loop and recirculating pump from the hot water heater, and eliminated the sauna. Eliminating the sauna made way for a double vanity with storage tower adding functionality to the master bathroom.

SELECTIONS
The countertop was selected from the Daltile One Quartz collection color Mar Blanc installed with white under mount sinks, Moen Rizon faucets, contemporary frameless mirrors, and simple vanity lights. The homeowner decided to keep the color scheme simple and stuck with a marble look porcelain tile from Daltile for both the shower walls and bathroom floor accent with a sky blue mosaic. Bye bye sauna hello soaker tub paired with a simple yet elegant filler.
