The homeowners wanted to remodel all the Ensuite bathrooms in their new Highland Park home and collaborated with Melissa, Renowned's lead designer.
Melissa used screen sharing, Pinterest, Houzz and lots of phone calls was able to manage the project remotely. The results? An Encaustic Tile themed bathroom.

The Encaustic tile was the inspiration for Melissa's selection of the fixtures and accessories for this Ensuite bathroom. The StyleCraft bathroom vanity has a Cambria Countertop, a Toto Undermount Sink with Brizo Charlotte Faucets.

This porcelain 6" x 6" Emser Encaustic tile creates a beautiful medallion pattern when four tiles are placed together. The design was widely used in the 13th through the 16th century in monasteries and churches. We chose to use the tile on the shower as well as on the bathroom floor for continuity of style.
The cathedral mirror from Shades of Light was selected to compliment the encaustic tile pattern.
The round glass cabinet knobs were selected to be paired with the scones.
