The client was the Kohler Signature Store Dallas. The project required designing two new kitchen showroom spaces for display purposes. The client wanted to showcase Kohler product lines, including Wolf Sub-Zero Cove panel-ready appliances. Kohler plumbing fixtures, Ann Sacks tile, and Cambria countertops.
The biggest challenge was doing a complete kitchen remodel in an occupied open retail space with prospective clients and visiting the store. The goal was to show as many products as possible in transitional and contemporary looks without overwhelming the customer. The kitchens were to be fully functional, except for the range. With limited parking, scheduling delivery was a bit tricky. We had to work after-hours, plastic-off the area during business hours, control the dust and manage the noise.
